Published by the Japan Woodblock Print Society (Nihon hanga kyōkai) in dec. 1939. More than thirty artists collaborated in this series, featuring famous places and modern urban life. Produced by artists from the Creative Print Movement, which began early in the 20th century by artists who designed, cut and printed their own woodblock prints.
