Series produced between 1929 to 1932 to show the changing landscape of Tokyo following the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. Created by eight artists of the sōsaku hanga (creative print) movement: Henmi Takashi, Un'ichi Hiratsuka, Kōshirō Onchi, Sakuichi Fukazawa, Kawakami Sumio, Senpan Maekawa, Fujimori Shizuo and Suwa Kanenori.
